Heya, exercise is important to burn off extra fuel from your food. The average man will burn off 2500 calories a day. The average woman around 2000. A calories are the amount of energy that your body can get from food. Every time you exercise, you burn off calories. Even sitting down you burn off a lot of calories, as energy is needed for your brain to work, your heart to beat and to keep your body at 37 degrees. If you eat more than 2500 calories and don’t do any exercise, the extra calories get stored as fat. This means you will become fat and will increase the chance that you will get ill from heart disease.

Exercise also releases chemicals that make you happy. Although it might be annoying to exercise, once you finished playing football or going for a cycle you feel good and happy. This is because of the release of a chemical called endorphins, which make you happy. So exercise is good for you and makes you feel good 🙂
