I’m only 4ft 10in tall, so I pretty much have to look up to most grown adults, which is annoying, as I get a really achey neck 🙁
Scientifically, I really admire people that have continued to explore areas of science, especially under pressure for them to stop. I answered the question about who I would most like to meet with Galileo, because he had the whole church against him, when they thought that his scientific work was against their religion. He carried on, and he made some really interesting and useful observations in his time.
There’s no one person I would point to, but I admire people who can stand back from the detail and who are able to see the “big picture”. I’ve met a few of these, and they always make me wish I was able to do the same!
Hi doubleh. I’m inspired by anyone who has the ability to just keep going. No matter what results they get, or how busy or tired they are. I’ve met a few people like this and I’d love to be more like them. I feel lazy in comparison.
You’re really lucky. I’ve always found that the better the teacher, the better I do in their lessons, and the harder I work, and the more excited I get by their subject.
So having a good teacher that really inspires you makes you a very lucky person!
