      Heart disease is one of the biggest killers in the west. It kills around 1.34 million people a year (from the World Health organisation website), and effects so many more. Although heart disease is still very high in the developing world (such as parts of Africa), other diseases like HIV kill a lot

      At the risk of sounding a bit silly I’d say ignorance is the biggest killer. People who refuse to take medication for various reasons, people who refuse to see a doctor, or simply people who start wars or attacks on others based on prejudices and ignorance of each others cultures.
