Heya, that’s a very big question. A lot could happen in 10 years, just look at what has happened in the last 10. Mobile phones were black and grey, no sign of a smartphone, and the ipod weighed a ton only worked for a few hours. I guess the last point is still true, my iTouch loses charge so quickly.

Anyway… I reckon we will see a move to electric cars. I still think that most cars will be petrol, but there will be a larger number of electric cars. These have the benefit that energy for them can come from renewable sources like wind, waves and the sun. But at the moment, there aren’t enough charge points, so you can’t really get anywhere. You would have to plan a journey to go by charge stations, which would be a pain. I think that these charge stations (like a petrol station) will increase in the next 10 years.

In my own field, I think that there might well be some big breakthroughs in treating heart disease. It is one of the biggest killers, along with cancer. I think that with stem cells, we might be able to finally help people get better.

These are all just my opinions though. The Earth could be a very different place in 10 years. Have you any ideas about what the world might be like?
