Hi ameeraf. When I was doing my degree the subject I found hardest was immunology. That’s the study of our immune systems, the part of our bodies that stops us getting sick, or helps us make our selves better when we are sick.
I found it hard because there were so many big words to learn, and lots and lots of things which happen in a particular order which you had to remember.
Hey ameeraf, I think it has to be enzyme kinetics. I can’t express how hard it was to pass that exam in university. It used a large amount of maths to show how enzymes, the proteins that help to make reactions go quicker, work.
Chemistry did it for me! There seemed to be so many exceptions to the rules! (I now know it’s because of kinetics or the speed of reactions, so what you expect to happen does not always happen unless you take this into account), but at the time it made no sense to me.
Top tip – if you have a complex problem, work with someone who is an expert on the things that you don’t really understand.

Thanks for replying William, the hardest part of science for me is electricity and mostly circuits ! 🙂

I find that hard too and I’m supposed to know about them for my PhD!

Ick I agree! I could never get it straight in my ahead the difference between current and charge. And power and voltage.
