  I’m an inventor! Some of the work that I’ve done in my PhD has been patented, so that it is officially recorded that I invented that particular thing. If anyone else uses it, they have to say that we made it first, and they can even buy it from us!

  My work is still in its early stages really but what I’m looking forward to is that no one has tried to do anything similar to me before. So if I can do it I can publish an article in a science magazine about it telling the world that it’s now been done! (I know that might not sound much but in science that’s quite a big thing)
