Hello Bemused Corgi – you were in Live Chat with us this morning, weren’t you?! Some great questions.

So yes, the water situation. Do you mean because they suffer from really dry seasons? It would be a problem if there was no water around, but at the same time, it would depend on their demand for energy as to how much they would need. Most of the world’s energy is used up by countries like the USA, the UK, China and India, which have huge cities that are draining the world of power. In countries in Africa, cities and towns are smaller, so their energy demands would be lower. It could be that they don’t use their own water to create hydrogen, but have the hydrogen ready made and transported to them.

If it is a case of having dirty water, rather than no water at all, the chemistry would still work, and a similar technology can actually be used to clean the water and get rid of the dirt in it.

Does that make any sense? Let me know if you want to know more!
