We can probably do less damage by exploring space, but on the other hand we need to explore the oceans to see what damage we’ve done to them already and to see what we can do to reduce it. We rely on the oceans as part of our eco-system, and we really do need to understand them.
i think both but more for space because space is enormous compared to the sea and the sea is large aswell … in the sea, you can find treasures and other rare objects, but in space, you can look for another solar system and COULD find another life .
Something tells me that you’re a future little astro-bunny. Then again, your questions are so varied, that you must have interests in loads of different things. I love the fact that you’re asking so many questions, because it’s the best way to learn new stuff.
I think that for a balanced argument, we need to explore all things, but as an astro-bunny myself, I would love to find other preferably intelligent life on another planet that we’re yet to know about, somewhere in the Universe. It’s a crazy idea, but if we can be here, living our lives, it can’t be so rare, surely… we just need to keep looking! Maybe something that you could do at Uni?
