• Question: in 10 years time will the cars still run on petrol

      Hey badboychav, I think in 10 years a good many cars will still run on petrol. I think that as electric cars and hydrogen cars start to become more popular and actually work, then stations to recharge or fill with hydrogen will increase. At the moment, most electric cars will only take you a small distance, before needing recharged. This can be a pain!

      Also there is a lack of recharge points around the country. Hopefully, with in the next 20 years there will be a major change to cars, away from petrol to more sustainable sources such as electricity from wind farms or wave power (David’s work). Or hydrogen, taken from splitting water (Suze’s work). But I think even then, there will still be some cars that run on petrol. I think petrol is here to stay for a few more years!
