If I wasn’t a scientist, I would probably be working in a really busy job in London. I love the drama and the rush to meet deadlines in City jobs, and London is my favourite city in the world, so I’d have to work here still!

Hi rachel4. If I wasn’t a scientist I’d probably be a computer programmer. I can’t help it! I’m a geek at heart. I built my first computer when I was 8 and haven’t stopped tinkering with them since.

What job do you think you want to do when you leave school/college/uni?

Heya, If I wasn’t a scientist, I would be a photographer. I love take pictures of landscapes and interesting areas. This also builds on my curious side, which is why I’m a scientist.

A potter – I really like making things with my hands. Wet clay is so nice to work with!
