I don’t think I would ask him any questions about my future. I would love to sit with him though and talk about how he sees the world. I think he was a man with some quite unique views.

It might involve having to learn German to do that though :/

Aw, Will stole my answer! I’d been thinking about that all the way home!

Yeah, I’d want to know a little it more about the story of his discoveries. How he thought about everything, and how he went from one idea to another. Brilliant mind.

Heya, I wouldn’t want to know how he felt about the atomic world that we live in. Not just nuclear bombs, but nuclear power? He signed a letter asking the American president to develop the atomic bomb to prevent the Nazi’s from making one first. However this eventually led to the nuclear arms race of the 60’s. Does he think the benefits of nuclear power, out way the dangers? What would you ask?

I’d ask him ” do you fancy a beer?”, and take him to the Royal Oak for a good chat. 🙂

He spent years in the US, so I don’t think I’d need any German! I’d love to know what he thinks about the way that nuclear energy has developed. He had real concerns about some of the possible uses of nuclear science. I think he could also give great advice on how to think around complex problems, no matter what they are.
