Question: Electricity is the best invention, so what interests you in wave and tidal currents with it?

We can convert the motions of the water in waves and the flowing tide to mechanical energy. This can be passed through a generator to make electricity (or to run pumps to desalinate water). In the UK we have lots of waves and quite a bit of very strong tidal currents so we should use them
