• Question: do you have a theory of how the wold will end and how?

      Sorry to say, but our sun will expand and will swallow up the earth!!!

      (it really will, but not for many, many millions of years. We can see the same thing happening now all the time, all over the universe)

      The Sun is a star, and when stars die, they explode. This is called a supernova, which I love the name of! The Earth as a big rock in the Solar System would get destroyed in this way, but the human race could be wiped out before this happens. I was reading about meteors today – huge rocks that float around in space. There is a chance that one will hit us in 2036, although we’ll know more when it passes really close to us in 2029 (which was when we thought that it might hit us in the first place). We’re long overdue a visit from a *big* meteor impact. It is believed that a meteor crashing down to Earth is what made the walking dinosaurs extinct, so if something like this happened on planet Earth, we could all die! Don’t worry though, as there will hopefully be ways that we can deflect any meteors coming our way, as long as we know about it in advance, so that we can gently nudge it out of our path!

      I couldn’t answer it better than James or Suze, even if Suze’s vision of a meteor destroying earth is a little scary!
